Account Information: When you sign up using Google Sign-In, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We do not receive or store your Google password.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with HostFeeds, including pages visited, features used, scrape requests made, export formats selected, and timestamps of activity. This data helps us understand usage patterns and improve the platform.

Rental Data Queries: We log the URLs and search parameters you submit for data extraction, including the platforms queried (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, Vacasa, Evolve) and the types of data fields requested. This information is used to fulfill your extraction requests and optimize our scraping infrastructure.

Payment Information: If you purchase a paid plan, payment details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store your full credit card number or payment credentials on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

Provide Our Service: We use your information to authenticate your account, process data extraction requests, deliver exported files (CSV, Excel, JSON), manage your credit balance, and provide customer support.

Improve the Platform: Aggregated and anonymized usage data helps us identify performance bottlenecks, prioritize new features, improve data accuracy, and optimize extraction speeds across supported platforms.

Communicate With You: We may send you transactional emails related to your account (such as extraction completions, credit balance alerts, and billing receipts) as well as occasional product updates. You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time from your account settings.

3. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored on encrypted servers with industry-standard security measures. We use TLS encryption for all data in transit and AES-256 encryption for data at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel and protected by multi-factor authentication. We conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to maintain the integrity of our infrastructure.

4. Third-Party Services

HostFeeds integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

Google OAuth: Used for account authentication. Google receives confirmation that you signed into HostFeeds but does not receive details about your extraction activity.

Payment Processors: We use industry-leading payment processors to handle billing securely. Your payment information is transmitted directly to the processor and is not stored on HostFeeds servers.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and extraction history for as long as your account is active. Exported data files are available for download for 30 days after generation, after which they are automatically deleted from our servers. If you close your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days of your request, except where we are required by law to retain certain records.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, export, and delete your personal data at any time. Specifically, you can:

Access: View all personal information associated with your account through your account settings dashboard.

Export: Download a complete copy of your account data, including extraction history and saved configurations, in a machine-readable format.

Delete: Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at [email protected]. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Cookies

HostFeeds uses minimal, functional cookies only. We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and a preferences cookie to remember your dashboard settings. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. No cookie consent banner is required because we do not engage in cross-site tracking.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on our website at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of HostFeeds after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
